Full-time Personal finance Web editor (Austin)
Family of personal finance websites needs a full-time editor to boost readership and credibility of two to three sites through quality content, increased social media presence and sound SEO practices.
The editor will develop relationships with freelancers, assign stories, edit copy, post stories through various content management systems, create internal and external links, and promote those stories through various social media platforms.
Experience with freelance writer management, content management systems, editing, blogging, SEO and social media is required.
A journalism degree or experience in a journalism setting is highly preferred, as is thorough knowledge of AP style as well as expertise in creating original quality content and information. Understanding of personal finance issues is a plus.
